Game Update: Version v0.3
I rolled out a significant update focusing on core mechanics, item functionality, and essential quality-of-life improvements. Thank you for your playin and supporting!
New Features and Core Systems
- Integrated Player Health System: A new player health system has been implemented. This system remains hidden and is only triggered/displayed when required by gameplay events.
- Item Functionality Expanded:
- The Morph Potion is now fully usable and correctly interacts with "flesh" items as originally intended.
- The Saw is now implemented and allows players to "produce" a new limb.
- Item Role Update: The Pumpkin is no longer just a static object—it has been converted into a functional, usable in-game item.
Quality of Life and Interface
- Enhanced Item Interaction: Added a drag-and-drop functionality for managing items in your inventory, as well as for interacting with the door.
- Inventory Alerting: A new visual alerting system has been added to the Item Inventory for better player notification.
- Visual Consistency:
- Item Sizing: Fixed and standardized the proportions of all items displayed in the menu.
- World Proportions: Corrected the dimensions and proportions of several hallways for a more polished look.
Audio Enhancements
Added a range of new sounds to enhance player feedback, including distinct effects for:
- New Sound Effects:
- Sawing
- "Flesh" object impact
- Item pickup
- Various minor interaction effects
